At No. 12 is a brief Art Nouveau diversion, the Peterka House, built to Jan Kotěra’s designs in 1899–1900. At No. 6 is the 1929 Functionalist building designed by Ludvík Kysela for Tomáš Bat’a, art patron, progressive industrialist and founder of the shoe empire.
